Since January 2005 the S-BG Sparkassenbeteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH has supported the project of DTE GmbH to develop a high performance membrane technology.
The company DTE GmbH founded in 2004 offers technical services, catalytic techniques predominantly in the field of membrane technology and exhaust gas cleaning. Financing partners are the German Federal Ministry of Economics (BMWi), VDI/VDE-Innovation and Technology GmbH (VDI/VDE-IT), the Technology Investment Company (TBG) and the Investment Bank Saxony-Anhalt (IB-LSA).
In addition to the R&D project from June 2005 first compact small-sized membrane systems should be manufactured for conditioning of water and waste water. Strategic goal is the market development of small-sized membrane systems in the branches of semiconductor- and electronic industry, metal working industry, chemical industry and biotechnology. In the Cathedral City of Merseburg on March 31, 2004 the DTE GmbH was founded by their shareholders Dr. Jörg Hofrnann and Dr. Heiko Tauchnitz. Since February 2005 the company has had a plant location in the Merseburger Innovation and Technology Centre (MITZ).
In the year 2003 the S-BG Sparkassenbeteiligungsgesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt mbH started up business operation. Shareholders of the enterprise are 12 Saving Banks of Saxony-Anhalt. The investment company provides small and medium-sized enterprises with an equity capital from up to 1.5 million.
Thereby it undergoes minority participations in open and silent form. Overall the shareholding in DTE GmbH is the ninth participation of SBG. Additional participation agreements will be closed in the near future.
